Call us delulu but there's a certain excitement to summer that the other seasons just can't compete with, the promise of sun kissed skin, many a cold glass of rosé, maybe a man named José and a European misadventure. Sometimes the promise of summer is better than the actual one, things go wrong, you get sunburned and the misadventure heads into a headache rather than being a good story. We've all been there. So if you're looking to make this summer your best yet, here's everything we think is summer vibes.
Rosé just tastes better in summer, ice cube slowly melting, a little bit of condensation on the side of the glass. It's the perfect lunch to evening drink, dry, heady and sometimes enough to make you dance on the table. Rosé is the perfect excuse for why you didn't read the absolutely delusional number of books you packed.

Linen is the perfect summer fabric, breathable but chic and the sun somehow permits the inevitable creases. We're opting for coords this summer, same as every summer, easy and put together and only getting better the longer they're worn.
Picnics in the Park Not to be confused with outdoor eating, which can happen as long as the weather permits it. A picnic in the park or the countryside is peak summer. We recommend going full cliché, the checkered rug, wicker picnic basket and a bougie spread, mini quiches, a cheeseboard, pressed sandwiches, lemon bars, berries and something sparkling or the aforementioned rosé.

Tan Lines crept back in last year and they're here to stay. They say 'its not fake, I've been in the sun' as a flex over tan out of a bottle. But instead of accidental, messy tan lines, the 2026 look is hyper-curated. Sharp lines from tiny bikinis or strapless bandeau tops are chosen to contour the shoulders and hips. It's part nostalgia and part Gen Z and high fashion. We're here for it.
Summer Fruit is like nothing else. We're so accustomed to having fruit year round, from different countries that we have forgotten the magic of local fruit in season. There's no strawberry more delicious than the one you have picked yourself and eat still standing in the strawberry field and no you didn't wash it. If you have the chance to go fruit picking this summer, run towards it with open arms, you'll taste nothing better.

Tomato Season Tomato is a fruit yes but it's so good it deserves its own section. Tomato salad with basil from the garden, tomato confit with fresh baguette, Pan con tomate, the list is endless. The summer tomato is vastly different from its sad winter counterpart, it's full of flavour, warm from the sunshine and best grown yourself but if you can't do that the best best thing is getting it from a farmers market.
Salty Skin means beach season, sandy toes, an afternoon spent in the sun before arriving home at sunset with a mind so relaxed it’s like you took something illegal. And try as you might, no salt spray from any brand can make your hair look as good as a day on the beach, we don’t know if its the combination of all the sun, sea water and good times or some kind of outdoor magic, but summer hair is a winner.
