There's nothing quite like a perfect croissant on a Sunday morning (or any morning to be frank), alongside a good coffee, maybe a book or your favorite person across the table. But finding one that's actually worth those weekend calories? That's the real challenge. Luckily for you (and maybe us 😏) we've tried every croissant worth eating in Dubai so you don't have to.

Where to Find the Best Croissants in Dubai

Best for Luxury Experience: heaf (Marsa Al Arab)
Best for Innovation: Flaky Pastry Croissant Co. (City Walk, Dubai Creek Harbour)
Best for Classics: Artisan Bakers (Jumeirah and Hessa St)
Best for Bold Flavors: bkry (Alserkal)

Flaky Pastry Croissant Co.

Locations: City Walk and Dubai Creek Harbour

Flaky Pastry like to push the boundaries of the traditional. From their sweet and sour Lime Croissant and warm Viral Cookie Croissant to the seasonal flavours of the Tropical Matcha Flan and the Hot Honey Pepperoni Croissant Pizza, these guys are not afraid to make the traditionalist mad. But the bold moves actually work, we can vouch that the Lime Croissant and Viral Cookie Croissant are definitely worth the trip. They also do the usual plain croissant, a triple pain au chocolat and an almond croissant for those who prefer the classics. Pair it with their very decent coffee and you have the start of a great weekend.

Must Try: Their Lime Croissant is a firm favourite
Price Range: AED 18-35

Artisan Bakers

Founded by award-winning baker T.K. Khaleel (his sourdough recipe is housed at the world's only Puratos Sourdough Library in Brussels), Artisan Bakers brings classic perfection to its croissants. Although a smaller croissant menu than most bakeries, its by no means less. Each croissant here owes its elegance to a reverence for technique and slow fermentation, bringing a taste of bakery heritage in every airy layer. The pain au chocolat is a TLJ favourite and goes perfectly with their flat white surrounded by the lush greenery of their interiors.

Must Try: The Pain au Chocolat is the best we've ever had
Price Range: AED 12-17.50

bkry

Dubai loves a new venue so expect to queue if you want a table, because bkry has most definitely become a Dubai hot location. This is another croissant house that likes to go bold with the flavours or maybe we should say bld. But anyway, they consider themselves an 'experimental bakehouse' with a line up that includes a Brisket Croissant with Tomato Jam and a PB&J Cruffin. We went for a few of the Pecan Salted Caramel Croissants to share but got them to go because queuing for a table is just not something that we're going to do for a pastry. It's a decent enough croissant but maybe a little too heavy to eat a whole one.

Must Try: Pecan Salted Caramel Croissant
Know Before You Go: Expect queues, better for takeaway

heaf

Location: Marsa Al Arab Marina

Nestled between Marsa Al Arab and its marina, heaf expands on the luxury vibes that are all around it. From its minimal sleek interiors to its exceptionally thought-out menu, it's a croissant spot that feels a little different to many others. The croissants lean toward the decadent with the chocolate croissant, in particular, arriving as a perfect square, coated in glossy chocolate sauce with a molten centre that quite honestly borders on dessert. The coffee menu is adventurous without losing its balance. We had the cold brew with vanilla cold foam which is clean and silky, while the cortado is quietly excellent, rich and well-pulled. heaf delivers on every sensory front, skilled baristas, premium beans, and views that make a simple coffee and croissant feel like a luxury.

Must Try: The Chocolate Croissant with its molten center is probably Dubai's most decadent croissant.
Why It's Special: Luxury setting, marina views, premium coffee

How to Find the Best Croissant in Dubai

Go Early: Croissants should be eaten fresh and in the morning. Most bakeries sell out of popular flavors by mid-morning.

Observe the Craft: Look for warm, crisp layers and visible structure. If it doesn't have these, you're wasting your time and calories.

Pair Thoughtfully: A flat white, double espresso, or v60 brings the flavour alive without overpowering or being sickly.
